The boat club is located in Wake Forest, NC with members primarily in Eastern NC. We are a “for profit” , “for fun” private club with a nominal membership fee because most of our expenses are covered by advertisers and sponsors who are also invited to be members.
Most of the members are sailors, kayakers, paddleboarders, and fisherfolk; however, golf. tennis, camping, birdwatching, hiking and picnicking are generally an offshoot.
The club provides boats to individuals or groups and can take the boats to the lake for members without hauling capabilities. We offer classes in sailing, fly fishing, bait casting, knot tying, safety, etc.
Like all recreational facilities, our aim is to get people off the couches and computers .
